The GreenLeaf Flow 400 SlimLine is the compact model in our new-generation Flow Series — designed for bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, ensuites, sleepouts, tiny homes and renovations where conventional gravity drainage isn't practical.
Its slimline body makes it ideal for installing behind a toilet, inside cabinetry or in tight spaces, while the powerful 400W macerating system can pump wastewater up to 7 metres vertically or 70 metres horizontally.

Actual pumping performance depends on pipe size, vertical lift, horizontal distance, bends and the overall installation layout.
Kitchens & Laundries
Yes — the Flow 400 SlimLine can be used with kitchen and laundry fixtures.
For reliable operation, macerator pumps should only receive normal wastewater.
Do not allow food scraps, cooking fats, oils, grease or foreign objects to enter the pump. Kitchen sinks should have a suitable waste strainer fitted.
Do not connect a food waste disposal unit unless an appropriate filtration system is installed.
Important Installation Points
For the best performance:

Greywater pipework should have approximately a 2% fall toward the pump

Showers generally require around 150mm of available height to achieve adequate gravity fall

Install the supplied non-return valve directly at the pump discharge
-
Complete vertical discharge pipework before long horizontal runs

Use sweeping bends or 2 x 45° bends where practical

Keep the pump accessible for future servicing

Unused inlet connections must remain correctly sealed

Simple Preventative Maintenance
Looking after a macerator is easy and can significantly reduce the chance of residue build-up and blockages.
Every 3–4 months:
Run a Sugar Soap cleaning solution through the pump, allow it time to work, then flush thoroughly with warm water.
Never put the following through a macerator:

Wet wipes — including “flushable” wipes

Tampons or sanitary products

Nappies
-
Paper towels
-
Food
-
Cooking fats, oils or grease

Rags or cloth

Cotton buds

Excessive hair
-
Foreign objects

Boiling water

Strong acids or aggressive drain cleaners
Human waste, toilet paper and normal household wastewater only.
24-Month GreenLeaf Warranty
Every GreenLeaf Flow 400 SlimLine includes a 24-month return-to-base warranty for residential use.
The warranty covers manufacturing faults under normal use when the pump has been correctly installed and operated.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

Incorrect installation

Missing or incorrectly installed non-return valve
