No macerator or grinder pump is blockage-proof.
However, the Force 800 incorporates a dedicated grinder system, giving it a much greater ability to process material entering the toilet than a conventional macerator cutting system.

Important
This additional protection does not mean foreign objects are safe to flush.
Wet wipes, sanitary products, paper towels, rags and other prohibited materials must still never intentionally be put through the pump.
Foreign objects can still jam or damage any grinder system, and blockages or damage caused by prohibited materials are not manufacturing faults.
The grinder provides an additional level of protection — it is not permission to misuse the pump and should not be relied upon as a failsafe. It is simply an added feature designed to assist if an accidental foreign object enters the system. Foreign objects, wipes, sanitary products and other prohibited materials must still never be flushed through the pump, and any blockage or damage caused by these materials is not covered under warranty. The Force 800 Grinder Pro can accept wastewater from one toilet plus compatible greywater fixtures, including:

Even a Grinder Has Rules
The Force 800 gives you more protection.
It does not mean anything can be flushed.
Never intentionally put the following through the pump:
- Wet wipes — including those labelled “flushable”
- Tampons
- Sanitary products
- Nappies
- Paper towels
- Rags or cloth
- Cotton buds
- Dental floss
- Food waste
- Cooking fats
- Oils
- Grease
- Foreign objects
- Strong acids
- Alkalis
- Solvents
- Aggressive drain cleaners
Human waste, toilet paper and suitable wastewater only.
If something inappropriate is accidentally flushed, the grinder provides a greater chance of processing it.
It does not make prohibited materials acceptable to flush.
Kitchen & Laundry Capable
The Force 800 Grinder Pro isn't limited to bathroom installations.
It can receive suitable wastewater from compatible kitchen and laundry fixtures, provided incoming wastewater remains within its 50°C maximum temperature rating.
For kitchen installations, use an appropriate sink strainer.
Never allow:
Food Waste • Cooking Fats • Oils • Grease
to enter the pump.
A grinder macerator is not a kitchen food-waste disposal system.
Important Installation Requirements
Correct installation is critical to reliable operation.
- Greywater fixtures must drain naturally by gravity toward the pump
- Maintain adequate fall on inlet pipework
- Allow approximately 150mm between the shower waste outlet and finished floor level when connecting through a lower side inlet
- Install the supplied non-return valve directly at the discharge
- Complete any required vertical rise before the long horizontal run
- Prefer 2 x 45° bends rather than tight 90° elbows
- Minimise unnecessary bends and restrictions
- Keep the pump accessible for servicing
- Correctly seal all unused connections
- Allow approximately 253mm minimum between the toilet outlet and rear wall
Professional installation by a qualified plumber or appropriate trade professional is strongly recommended.
Simple Preventative Maintenance
The Grinder Pro requires very little routine maintenance when correctly installed and used.
Every 3–4 Months
Run a diluted non-corrosive Sugar Soap solution through a connected fixture.
Allow it a short time to help loosen soap and organic build-up, then flush the system thoroughly with clean warm water.
Never use boiling water.
Periodically check:
- Flexible connections
- Clamps
- Non-return valve
- Discharge pipework
- Power lead
- Carbon breather
and ensure everything remains secure, dry and unobstructed.

The GreenLeaf Force 800 Grinder Pro includes a 24-month return-to-base warranty for residential use.
The warranty covers manufacturing faults arising under normal use and correct installation.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

- Wet wipes or sanitary products
- Food waste, oils, fats or grease
- Aggressive chemicals
- Incorrect installation
- Unsuitable pipework
